The benchmark Indian equity indices were trading lower on Thursday amid mixed global cues.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81440.09 down by -275.54 points or by -0.34 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24979.5 down by -77.4 points or by -0.31 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81840.73 and intraday low of 81392.95 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25092.7 and intraday low of 24965.1
