At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81838.75 down by -263.35 points or by -0.32 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25096.7 down by -72.8 points or by -0.29 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82045.47 and intraday low of 81607.84 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25149.85 and intraday low of 25027.45
