The benchmark BSE Sensex fell 387 points on Friday, ending its three-day winning streak as investors booked profits in heavyweight stocks such as HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 82626.23 down by -387.73 points or by -0.47 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25327.05 down by -96.55 points or by -0.38 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82978.63 and intraday low of 82485.92 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25428.75 and intraday low of 25286.3

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1427.75,+1.09%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 743.30,+1.06%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1962.35,+1.05%), State Bank of India (Rs. 862.25,+0.91%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 338.75,+0.55%), among others.
