Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade lower on Friday after a three-day rally amid profit-taking in blue-chips Tata Consultancy Services and ICICI Bank.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82596.21 down by -417.75 points or by -0.5 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25337.7 down by -85.9 points or by -0.34 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82978.63 and intraday low of 82575.41 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25428.75 and intraday low of 25297.05

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1433.50,+1.50%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2502.00,+0.96%), State Bank of India (Rs. 860.25,+0.68%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 738.50,+0.41%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 338.20,+0.39%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3465.30,-1.30%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1404.45,-1.22%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 1193.90,-1.21%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 966.65,-1.01%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1525.05,-0.99%), among others.
