Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty rallied on Wednesday following positive day-long discussions with the visiting US team on a bilateral trade deal with both sides agreeing to push for an early and mutually beneficial conclusion of the agreement.

At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82630.18 up by 249.49 points or by 0.3 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25314.15 up by 75.05 points or by 0.3 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82720.76 and intraday low of 82490.47 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25342.15 and intraday low of 25275.35

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 15758.00,+1.20%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 12702.20,+0.98%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3172.30,+0.85%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 719.65,+0.84%), State Bank of India (Rs. 838.75,+0.84%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3534.70,-0.65%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 171.05,-0.55%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 286.85,-0.52%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1403.00,-0.39%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 411.65,-0.36%), among others.
