Indian benchmark indices were trading flat with negative bias during the noon trading session amid volatility on account of Donald Trump's 25 per cent tariff announcement.

At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81393.93 down by -87.93 points or by -0.11 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24819.35 down by -35.7 points or by -0.14 %.
