Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade lower on Tuesday, extending their downward journey to the fourth day running, amid uncertainty related to the India-US trade deal and persistent foreign fund outflows.

At 10:35 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80723.53 down by -167.49 points or by -0.21 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24658.05 down by -22.85 points or by -0.09 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80990.72 and intraday low of 80575.45 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24727.15 and intraday low of 24598.6

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1904.00,+0.63%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1394.10,+0.49%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 684.55,+0.33%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1469.60,+0.24%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1378.45,+0.18%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 302.35,-1.58%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 329.40,-1.05%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1063.50,-0.92%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1502.80,-0.88%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1960.20,-0.84%), among others.
