Stock markets opened lower on Tuesday, pressured by weakness in Asian markets and lackluster Q1FY26 earnings on the domestic front.

At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark indices was trading at 80877.95 down by -13.07 points or by -0.02 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24710.4 up by 29.5 points or by 0.12 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80962.85 and intraday low of 80575.45 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24712.15 and intraday low of 24598.6
