Indian stock markets ended lower on Thursday, weighed down by stock-specific movements as investors responded to the June quarter earnings of companies such as Infosys, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, IEX, Coforge, and Tata Consumer Products, among others.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 82184.17 down by -542.47 points or by -0.66 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25062.1 down by -157.8 points or by -0.63 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82784.24 and intraday low of 82047.22 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25246.25 and intraday low of 25018.7
