Indian stock markets were trading lower on Thursday after a flat start, as investors reacted to the June quarter earnings of companies such as Infosys, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, IEX, Coforge, and Tata Consumer Products, among others.

At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82571.69 down by -154.95 points or by -0.19 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25187.95 down by -31.95 points or by -0.13 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82784.24 and intraday low of 82525.34 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25246.25 and intraday low of 25180.65

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 704.70,+2.10%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 306.55,+1.51%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 859.70,+0.99%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1955.90,+0.65%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 163.85,+0.64%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2150.80,-0.88%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 961.30,-0.71%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1563.80,-0.67%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1537.30,-0.63%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3159.85,-0.61%), among others.
