Indian benchmark indices were trading lower on Friday amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran. Selling pressure was seen in index heavyweights including Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd, State Bank of India, IndusInd Bank Ltd.ITC Ltd.Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. among others.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 570.24 points or by -0.7 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24711.05 down by -177.15 points or by -0.71 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81238.68 and intraday low of 80354.59 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24754.35 and intraday low of 24473
