Stock markets witnessed volatile trading on Thursday amid weak global cues. Investors remained cautious, evaluating the US-China trade deal and keeping a close watch on rising tensions between the US and Iran, which have led to a surge in oil prices.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81724.76 down by -790.38 points or by -0.96 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24860.55 down by -280.85 points or by -1.12 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82661.04 and intraday low of 81523.16 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25196.2 and intraday low of 24825.9

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 713.65,-3.07%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3595.00,-2.44%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3462.35,-2.21%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 153.10,-2.08%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2327.00,-2.07%), among others.
