Indian stock markets opened on a positive note on Monday, buoyed by strong global cues ahead of scheduled trade talks between the US and China in London later today.

At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82543.05 up by 354.06 points or by 0.43 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25091.45 up by 88.4 points or by 0.35 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82669 and intraday low of 82434.77 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25160.1 and intraday low of 25082.05
