Domestic bourses continued to gain strength during the noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights including Reliance Industries Ltd, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. , Tata Steel Ltd. State Bank of India and Larsen & Toubro Ltd among others.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80254.99 up by 1042.46 points or by 1.32 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24344.85 up by 305.5 points or by 1.27 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80305.03 and intraday low of 79341.35 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24346.55 and intraday low of 24054.05
