Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade higher on Monday amid sustained foreign fund inflows and a sharp rally in blue-chip stock Reliance Industries.

A firm trend in global markets also propelled rally in the domestic equities.

At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80056.46 up by 843.93 points or by 1.07 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24245.35 up by 206 points or by 0.86 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80088.89 and intraday low of 79341.35 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24283 and intraday low of 24054.05

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1354.70,+4.20%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1831.50,+2.50%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1428.25,+1.69%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2910.00,+1.67%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 361.85,+1.56%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1552.75,-1.68%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 226.70,-0.72%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2399.75,-0.60%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 9060.40,-0.56%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1455.40,-0.42%), among others.
