Indian benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty50, opened higher on Monday, amid lingering concerns over tariffs, India-Pakistan tensions, and the ongoing Q4 earnings season.

At 9:25 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 79525.01 up by 312.48 points or by 0.39 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24070.25 up by 30.9 points or by 0.13 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 79668.58 and intraday low of 79341.35 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24070.25 and intraday low of 24070.25

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1326.05,+2.00%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1421.50,+1.21%), State Bank of India (Rs. 808.00,+1.16%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2887.55,+0.89%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2220.00,+0.77%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1544.00,-2.24%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 11513.75,-1.47%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2390.75,-0.97%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2408.00,-0.91%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1448.25,-0.91%), among others.
