Indian benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and Nifty50 were trading higher on Tuesday, amid weakness in global markets.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 79616.43 up by 207.93 points or by 0.26 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24176.25 up by 50.7 points or by 0.21 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 79824.3 and intraday low of 79253.44 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24242.6 and intraday low of 24072

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were ITC Ltd. (Rs. 431.10,+1.96%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2816.00,+1.85%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1961.85,+1.78%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2391.05,+1.75%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2277.30,+1.55%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 791.05,-4.47%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1421.00,-2.03%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 313.75,-1.94%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1847.25,-1.93%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 2089.35,-0.71%), among others.
