Benchmark equity indices continued to trade higher on Friday after the US announced suspension of additional tariffs on India for 90 days until July 9 this year.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74227.08 up by 1089.18 points or by 1.49 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22399.15 down by -136.7 points or by -0.61 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 74859.39 and intraday low of 73424.92 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22468.7 and intraday low of 22353.25

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 132.40,+4.09%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1951.00,+2.88%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2111.30,+2.84%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1418.70,+2.77%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 217.30,+2.74%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2386.00,-0.98%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2328.65,-0.68%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1058.05,-0.34%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3240.00,-0.19%), among others.
