Aster DM Healthcare Ltd on Tuesday said it has increased its stake in Dr. Ramesh Cardiac and Multispeciality Hospital Pvt Ltd (DRCMHPL), Andhra Pradesh, to 70.49 per cent by acquiring an additional 13 per cent equity for ?63.01 crore.
The company earlier held 57.49 per cent in DRCMHPL, popularly known as Aster Ramesh Hospitals. The stake acquisition was carried out under the terms of the shareholders' agreement, which allowed the promoter group to exercise a put option to sell part of their equity to Aster DM, the company said.
