The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 77.87 crore compared to net loss of Rs 9.17 crore in the previous year quarter.
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 17.64 per cent at Rs 1,428.89 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,214.68 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 8.48 per cent to Rs 1,260.46 crore from Rs 1,161.91 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 45.33 per cent at Rs 21.77 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 14.98 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 219.18 per cent to Rs 168.43 crore as against Rs 52.77 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 171.66 per cent in June quarter.
Interest declined by 19.71 per cent y-o-y to Rs 20.77 crore, while Taxation increased by 2421.74 per cent at Rs 42.72 crore (Jun'24 Rs -1.84 crore).
