The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the 2024-25 round of its annual Survey on Foreign Liabilities and Assets (FLA) of Mutual Funds and Asset Management Companies (AMCs).
This survey gathers data on the external financial liabilities and assets of mutual fund companies and AMCs as of the end of March for the most recent financial year. The collected information is published in the public domain and contributes to the compilation of India’s external sector statistics.
Submission Requirements:
Asset Management Companies (AMCs): Must submit the FLA annual return online via the RBI’s FLAIR portal: https://flair.rbi.org.in by July 15, 2025.
Mutual Fund Companies: Must complete Schedule-4 of the survey, which is available on the RBI website under ‘Regulatory Reporting’ ? ‘List of Returns’ ? ‘FLA MF - Survey Schedule’ or through the ‘Forms’ section at the bottom of the homepage under ‘Survey’. The completed schedule should be submitted via email by July 15, 2025.
