ABB India, a leader in electrification and automation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with state-owned Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) to digitally optimize iron and steel-making processes at the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha.
The partnership aims to address key challenges in the steel industry, such as rising environmental standards, cost pressures, and the need to maintain a competitive edge in a dynamic market, ABB India stated.
