The India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (Ind-Aus ECTA) celebrates its third anniversary, highlighting its role in boosting bilateral trade and economic collaboration.
Since its signing on April 2, 2022, the agreement has strengthened business ties, driving India’s exports to Australia up by 14% in 2023-24 and an additional 4.4% growth in the current fiscal year. Key sectors benefiting include textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and agriculture, along with new export lines such as Calcined Petroleum Coke and Air Liquefaction Machinery.
As both nations deepen economic engagement, the ECTA continues to unlock new opportunities, reinforcing a strong and mutually beneficial partnership.
