Valiant Communications Limited (VCL) has secured an order from THDC India Limited (formerly Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited), a Mini Ratna Category-I enterprise under the Government of India and a subsidiary of NTPC Limited. The order involves the supply of ransomware-resilient, on-premises key data center equipment as part of THDC’s initiative to upgrade its data center infrastructure.
As a Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) organization, THDC is enhancing its data security with VCL’s advanced data storage solutions, designed to offer high throughput, low latency, and mission-critical capabilities. VCL, a Class 1 manufacturer, provides Made in India products and solutions that are tailored for power sector utilities, SCADA applications, government agencies, financial institutions, defense, and other critical infrastructure organizations.
VCL’s ransomware-resilient on-premises data storage solutions integrate multiple layers of cybersecurity, including network isolation, quantum-safe encryption, data diodes, and EMP-protected storage solutions. These features ensure secure and resilient data storage, safeguarding critical operations from cyber threats.
Expressing enthusiasm over the project, Inder Mohan Sood, CEO of Valiant Communications, stated:
“We are thrilled about this opportunity as new avenues continue to unfold. The rising frequency and sophistication of ransomware attacks have made data protection and recovery a top priority for organizations. Companies are increasingly focusing on immutable storage, secure onsite and offsite backups, and robust cybersecurity measures—all of which are incorporated in VCL’s advanced data storage solutions.”
This project further reinforces VCL’s role as a trusted provider of cutting-edge cybersecurity and data protection solutions for critical infrastructure organizations.
