Central GST offices to remain open from March 29 to 31

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) announced on Friday that Central GST (CGST) field offices will remain open from March 29 to 31.

This decision follows a similar directive from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), which instructed income tax department offices to stay open to facilitate the completion of pending departmental work.

The financial year 2024-25 concludes on March 31.
