Revolt Motors, India’s leading electric motorcycle manufacturer, is set to expand its global presence by entering the Nepalese market, following a successful debut in Sri Lanka. Partnering with the renowned MV Dugar Group, which boasts 140 years of legacy and 52 years of expertise in the automotive industry, Revolt Motors will launch its flagship Revolt Hub in Kathmandu in April 2025.
This strategic expansion highlights Revolt’s commitment to promoting sustainable mobility across key international markets, starting with South Asia. The Kathmandu Hub will showcase Revolt’s complete range of electric motorcycles, including the flagship RV400, the sleek RV400 BRZ, the practical RV1 and RV1+, and the newly launched high-performance RV BlazeX. Customers will also have access to genuine accessories and branded merchandise.
To enhance customer experience, Revolt Motors is developing a comprehensive after-sales support network with fully equipped service stations at all dealership locations across Nepal. Over the next 3-4 months, the company plans to open 15 showrooms in major cities, making advanced electric mobility solutions accessible to a wider audience.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Ms. Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, stated, “Nepal’s strong focus on clean energy and increasing demand for sustainable mobility make it a key strategic market for us. The country’s unique landscape, where motorcycles are a preferred mode of transport, offers an excellent opportunity for Revolt to introduce its smart and efficient electric motorcycles. This expansion also supports our vision of promoting electric mobility globally, with plans to enter Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa in the near future.”
Ms. Rattan also emphasized the importance of the partnership with the MV Dugar Group in ensuring world-class products and services for Nepalese customers. To provide exceptional support, Revolt will conduct extensive training programs for dealership and service personnel, equipping them with comprehensive knowledge of the company’s advanced EV technology and customer-centric approach.
In line with its market entry strategy, Revolt Motors will offer exclusive early-bird promotions to encourage the swift adoption of electric motorcycles in Nepal.
Mr. Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Dugar Brothers & Sons Pvt Ltd, commented, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Revolt Motors to introduce their groundbreaking electric motorcycles in Nepal. With rising awareness and demand for eco-friendly transportation, we are confident that Revolt’s innovative and high-performance vehicles will resonate strongly with Nepalese consumers.
